About the same money, two different jobs. Kajabi is where your course lives. Nova is the system that fills the calendar that sells it — built for you, running in about five minutes.

we tell you where Kajabi wins too
Five differences. If you only read one part of this page, read this part — everything after it is evidence.
Kajabi gives you a shop and a stage. Nova brings the people to it.
You describe what you sell. Nova generates the pipeline, the follow-up sequences, the booking flow and the templates around it, and it checks every fact it used back against your own words before you ever log in.
You get themes, templates and empty builders. The site, the offers, the checkout, the emails and the automations are yours to design, write and wire.
Describe your offer today; the system is answering and booking leads the same day. Nothing to configure first, nothing to learn before it earns.
The templates shorten it, but the build is still yours: pages, products, checkout, sequences. Days and weeks of work before the first booked call.
“Text my no-shows at 9am.” “Add a stage for renewals.” “Write me a month of content.” Nova edits the automation itself. There is no builder to learn and no settings maze to find.
Changes mean opening the automation and email editors and rebuilding the sequence yourself. There is AI to help you write; the wiring is still hand work.
The software, the AI, the build, the migration, the support and your message volume are one price. No wallet to top up, no per-contact tier, no setup invoice.
Plans from $89/mo with no usage wallet — credit where it is due — but tiers are gated by contacts, products, funnels and admin users, and the parts it does not do become other subscriptions.
New leads get a real reply in under a minute, in your voice. No-shows get chased. Quiet leads get revived. Every one of those is a close you were losing quietly.
Superb at selling to a list that already knows you. Chasing one individual lead — a reply in a minute, three text reminders, the no-show chase — is not the job it was built around.
Honest note: a dedicated texting number is $20/mo on top, with 2,000 texts a month included.
We are not going to pretend Kajabi is bad software — it isn’t. It is the best-known home for creators who sell courses, and it does that job properly. It is simply pointed at a different part of your business.
Not a feature-count contest. Four short tables, one per part of the job.

An illustration, not a quote: what a single coaching or service business tends to pay each month once the thing is actually running.
The left-hand card is an illustration of the shape of the bill, not a quote — Kajabi’s own entry plan starts from around $89/mo as published in July 2026, annual billing is cheaper, and what else you end up paying depends entirely on which parts of the job you need. Check their pricing page before you decide, and hold us to ours.
If a comparison page never says a good word about the other side, it is an advert. Three places Kajabi is the right call — and one of them is a reason to keep it running next to Nova.
Video hosting, drip release, student progress, offers, coupons and a checkout that works. This is Kajabi’s home ground and it is very good at it. Nova OS does not host courses — if that is your product, Kajabi wins this outright.
Communities, a polished member area and a branded mobile app your students actually log into. If the thing you sell is an ongoing membership, that experience is a real part of the product and Nova does not try to replace it.
If you sell a digital product to an audience that already knows you, Kajabi can genuinely be the only software you run. Nova is narrower and deeper: the getting-clients half — outreach, booking, follow-up, pipeline and money.
You keep your contacts, your history and your course. Nothing gets deleted on their side — and plenty of people keep Kajabi for delivery and run everything else in Nova.
Pull your contacts out of Kajabi as CSV with their tags and send them over. We import them with tags, segments, owners and notes preserved, and set up the pipeline stages your offer actually has. You do not retype anything.
Tell us what your email automations and funnels currently do, or screenshot them. Nova rebuilds the equivalent — follow-up, reminders, no-show chase, revival — around your offer, usually the same day.
You do not have to cancel anything. If your course or membership lives in Kajabi, leave it there and let Nova run the front of the business — outreach, booking, follow-up, money. Cancel only if you find you have stopped logging in.
Migration is included — there is no onboarding invoice at the end of it.
Tell us what you sell. We'll show you, on your own numbers, what a system that follows up for you is worth every month.
