One is a superb engine waiting for you to write the sequences. One arrives with the sequences already written — and it does the calling, booking and chasing too.

we tell you where ActiveCampaign wins too
Five differences. If you only read one part of this page, read this part — everything after it is evidence.
ActiveCampaign sells you the engine. Nova hands you the finished machine.
You describe what you sell. Nova generates the pipeline, the follow-up sequences, the booking flow and the templates around it, and it checks every fact it used back against your own words before you ever log in.
The automation canvas starts blank. You write every email, design every sequence, and build the segments, tags and forms that trigger them.
Describe your offer today; the system is answering and booking leads the same day. Nothing to configure first, nothing to learn before it earns.
The platform is ready in minutes. Your campaigns are not — they wait on copy you have to write, and that is usually a project of weeks.
“Text my no-shows at 9am.” “Add a stage for renewals.” “Write me a month of content.” Nova edits the automation itself. There is no builder to learn and no settings maze to find.
Changes mean opening the automation builder and arranging triggers, conditions, waits and goals yourself — a genuinely good builder, but it is still your afternoon.
The software, the AI, the build, the migration, the support and your message volume are one price. No wallet to top up, no per-contact tier, no setup invoice.
Plan tiers priced by contact count, so the bill grows as your list grows. Sales and CRM features sit on higher tiers, and SMS is a paid add-on.
New leads get a real reply in under a minute, in your voice. No-shows get chased. Quiet leads get revived. Every one of those is a close you were losing quietly.
It sends what you told it to send, beautifully. It does not decide that this lead has gone quiet and write them something new — that judgement stays with you.
Honest note: a dedicated texting number is $20/mo on top, with 2,000 texts a month included.
We are not going to pretend ActiveCampaign is weak software — it is one of the best email and automation engines there is. It is built for marketers who write campaigns. If that is not your job, the maths changes.
Not a feature-count contest. Four short tables, one per part of the job.

Every row here is a claim we will walk you through on a live screen before you pay a cent.
Prices and features change on both sides — check their pricing page and ours before you decide.
An illustration, not a quote: what a single coaching or service business tends to pay each month once the thing is actually running.
The left-hand card is an illustration of the shape of the bill, not a quote — ActiveCampaign publishes plan tiers whose price depends on your contact count, and what you spend on copy and building depends entirely on how you run it. Check their pricing page before you decide, and hold us to ours.
If a comparison page never says a good word about the other side, it is an advert. Three places ActiveCampaign is the right call — and we will tell you so on the phone.
Segmentation, conditional content, split-tested automations, list hygiene and a serious reputation for deliverability — plus transactional sending through Postmark, which they own. If your revenue comes out of the inbox, that engine is the point of the product.
Broadcasts, launches, newsletters, ecommerce flows — ActiveCampaign is built to talk to a lot of people at once and measure it properly. Nova is built for a pipeline of conversations, not a broadcast schedule. Different shape of business.
If your stack already exists — store, webinars, scheduler, membership site — ActiveCampaign slots into the middle of it and moves data between the parts. Nova replaces most of those parts instead. If you want to keep the stack, keep the tool that connects it.
You keep your contacts, your tags and your history. Nothing gets deleted on their side until you say so — run both for a week if you want.
Pull contacts, tags, custom fields and deals out of ActiveCampaign as CSV and send them over. We import them with tags mapped to pipeline stages, and owners and notes preserved. You do not retype anything.
Tell us what your automations currently do, or screenshot the canvas. Nova rebuilds the equivalent — welcome sequence, nurture, reminders, no-show chase, re-engagement — around your offer, usually the same day.
Swap your opt-in forms and site embeds over so new leads land in Nova, and warm up your sending domain alongside theirs. Once your calendar is booking out of Nova, cancel ActiveCampaign. Not before.
Migration is included — there is no onboarding invoice at the end of it.
Tell us what you sell. We'll show you, on your own numbers, what a system that follows up for you is worth every month.
